25-year old power forward Quincy Acy is going to opt out from his minimum salary player option and become a free agent this summer. Acy played in 59 games (29 starts) for the Sacramento Kings last year and he averaged 14.8 minutes, 5.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game. He played in 115 games (29 starts) in his two years with the Kings and he averaged 14.5 minutes, 4.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 0.4 assists per game. Acy has now played in 219 games (51 starts) in his first four years in the NBA and he is averaging 15.3 minutes, 4.5 points, 3.6 rebounds and 0.6 assists per game. With NBA teams flush with a lot of cap space this summer, Acy could easily double his salary for the 2016-17 season.
